In my room,
Hunched over a board,

I draw my cartoon friends,

My clothes are grey and black
since moving into this town
It's something in the air.
It's suffocating, it's Jerkwater.

It's a contagious yawn.
It's infiltrated this town.
I cannot move beyond,
Although I hate it, it's my Jerkwater.

I had a wife and kids.
She died and they grew up and left,
looking for better towns.
I think she drowned in all the Jerkwater.

I know it's poisonous.
But I've grown so accustomed,
Dependant and addicted,
I've dug my own grave here in Jerkwater.
