"Wise men have regarded the earth as a tragedy, a farce, even an illusionist's trick; but all, if they are truly wise and not merely intellectual rapists, recognize that is is certainly some kind of stage in which we all play roles, most of us being very poorly coached and totally unrehearsed before the curtain rises. Is it too much, if I ask, tentatively, that we agree to look upon it as a circus, a touring carnival wandering about the sun for a record seasons of four billion years and producing new monsters and miracles, hoaxes and bloody mishaps, wonders and blunders, but never quite entertaining the customers well enough to prevent them from leaving, one by one, and returning to their homes for a long and bored winter's sleep under the dust? Then, say, for a while at least, that I have found an identity as ringmaster; but that crown sits uneasily upon my head (if i have a head) and I must warn you that the troupe is very small for a universe this size, and many of us have to double or triple our stints, so you can expect me back in many other guises.
Indeed do many things come to pass."

The store is now set up, with Asthma Miasma CDs and MP3s for sale. Please buy something and help feed my starving children!

The lyrics for Asthma Miasma are now up. Album art is nearly finished, and I'm working out the details for selling the CD online. There is not long to wait.
In other news, my buddy Gavin and I are going into a studio this Sunday to record some Sausage Kings tunes. Those are going to be pretty great too.

It took me like, nine hours, but I made a song yesterday and I don't think that saying it's a masterpiece is an understatement. It's called California's On Fire, and it's on the download page. There's several other songs in the works too, so I'm like a third of the way done with the album, which WILL be sold here.

So work Asthma Miasma is now taking place alongside work on Through the Looking Glass, the companion to Alice! The first song, the infamous Jabberwocky, is now up. I'm really looking forward to making these, and I know I said this about 2007, but 2008 is going to be an awesome year for music. Ciao.

Holy Cheezits, you guys, (by which I'm talking of course about the imaginary visitors to this site), It was exhausting to record but I managed to get out a violin-rock cover of Such Great Heights by the Postal Service. Work on Asthma Miasma is coming slowly, especially since school started a month ago and we are now halfway through a semester. The good news is that I have like 20 songs written on the back of Taco Bell receipts. The bad news is that they need much more work and that some of them are covered in cheeze.

I've also officially decided upon a name for the current W.I.P: Asthma Miasma. Summer was a huge block in my writing, but now that I'm in school again the floodgates of creativity have opened, and you guys all need to be prepared for some seriously awesome music come 2008.
Also, dig this: I'm remotely controlling my computer from the school library, and using FTP to upload this very webpage. Basically, I'm transferring files between home and Angelfire from a completely seperate computer. There are three different computers on my screen! FURTHERMORE, if anyone is at home and looking at the computer right now, they'll pretty much think It's gone crazy and started opening files and stuff of it's own freewill. HI DAD! IT'S ME, THE BROOD NEEDS FOOD! DON'T WORRY, THE COMPUTER IS NOT POSSESSED!
That's all, folks.

So if you were to poke through the history of this website and my music, you'd probably know that I've gone through at least 600 name changes. Well, I picked one and I'm stickin' to it: The Brood Needs Food. Put that in your pipe and pipe it.

I updated the "about" page to include pictures of my instruments. Also, here's a video:

Alice! is finally finished. You can download the whole thing here. It's a half hour of free, literature-oriented, violin-rock music. But you should still hear it anyway.

So my downstairs computer mysteriously started working again after a few weeks of silence, and I spent the wee hours of the morning recording and uploading Levan Polkka. (Mostly recording, though.) Dig it!

So apparently, all of the songs I've made since Alice! have been all screwed, in terms of radio-panning at least. You probably would have noticed it if you listened to them on headphones, or if you exist. As I'm not even sure that anyone at all visits this place, it's not too surprising that nobody told me this before. Anyway, I fixed it, I think, and uploaded TWO songs: Pig and Bat, and Albert's Train. Dig it, imaginary reader.

A few things since last month- I made a new myspace, a new playlist, and a new song. There are plans in the making for The Sausage Kings at Relay For Life, maybe, and either or both the Sausage Kings and WTF Ninja will be at some festival thing of sorts, which I still have to get more information on. There are also plans for a second ROOFSTOCk, which will be pretty damn awesome. Keep checking in, that tumor wont surgically remove itself from your chest.

I uploaded four new versions of songs for the Dogfish, nearly completing my revamp of the project. I've also gotten my hands on some new recording software and equipment, and soon I'll upload some tunes from two upcoming projects: Find X, and Alice! (a musical rendition of all the nonsense poems in Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland). 2007 is going to be a good year for muzak.
Thursday, November 23, 2006.
I uploaded new versions of Hall of the Mountain King by Edward Grieg, and Hooligan's Island. Both absolutely rock. I've also been busy lately with college applications and whatnot- so it looks like the Dogfish project is going to be delayed at least for a while. My goal is to finish it by the year's end.

I uploaded The Hitchhiker's Rap for the Lemon Demon Forum contest (the topic was Rapping over Classical Music). I recorded it in about two and a half hours, because I found out that this week's contest ends TODAY!!! Still, I think it's pretty spiffy. Note that it's not me actually playing the piano, it's a demo song. Well it's not like you need musical ability to rap anyway.
Tuesday, Octoboer 24, 2006.
I finished and uploaded a newer version of Laurie's Song. I'll be uploading new versions of my other songs as well over the course of the next few weeks, as part of my super-secret upcoming project. Keep a look out.
